Sony presents the ICF-CL75iP, a device that serves as a digital photo frame, alarm clock as well as an iPod/iPhone dock. The ICF-CL75iP has a space-saving design with a retractable docking tray for charging and playing iPod or iPhone.
Sony ICF-CL75iP features a 7-inch 800×480 LCD display, 1GB internal memory, built-in FM/AM radio, and built-in 1Wx2 stereo speakers. It supports MP3, WMA7/8 and MP4, Motion JPEG and AVI video. It does also voice recording.
Sony ICF-CL75iP is available for pre-order for $149.95.

Not only Epson brings new Full HD projector, Sony is also launching the new BRAVIA VPL-VW85 flagship SXRD Full HD projector. As the direct successor of the BRAVIA VPL-VW80, the PL-VW85 is equipped with Sony’s High Frame Technology 3SXRD panel that doubles the number of images displayed on the screen per second.
Thanks to the BRAVIA technology and Advanced Iris 3 technology, the VW85 has a contrast ratio of 120,000:1 and 800 ANSI lumens brightness. The new SXRD projector features also BRAVIA ENGINE 2 image processing, a All Range Crisp Focus (ARC-F) lens with 1.6x motorized zoom, 3 Cinema Modes, Anamorphic Zoom Mode, support for x.v. Color, and BRAVIA Sync.
Sony BRAVIA VPL-VW85 offers a HDMI, a component video, a S-video, a Composite input ports and a Trigger Out mini jack and RS-232C connector.

Epson announced at the IFA 2009 two new flagship Full HD 1080p projectors based on 3LCD display technology, the EH-TW5500 (known as the Pro Cinema 9500UB in the US) and the EH-TW4400 (Home Cinema 8500UB ). Both projectors feature 1920×1080p Full HD resolution, 1600 ANSI lumens brightness, 2.1x optical zoom lens and x.v. Color mode.
The Epson EH-TW5500 has a 200,000:1 contrast ratio with Epson DeepBlack technology for jet blacks, 12 bit video processing while the EH-TW4400 offers 130,000:1 contrast and 10 bit video processing. The EH-TW5500 includes also HQV video processor, Epson’s C2 Fine inorganic D7 panel.
These projectors both offer two HDMI 1.3 ports. They will be released in November, EH-TW5500 costs Euro 3299 while the EH-TW4400 is priced at Euro 2799.

Aiptek Europe announced the PenCam HD Trio, an ultra slim 720p HD digital camcorder. The device has a slim pen-like compact design that makes it looks more like a digital audio recorder or a highlighter.
The PenCam HD Trio features a 5 Megapixel CMOS sensor allowing the camcorder to record 1280×720p HD video at 30fps and 5 Megapixel still images. The video camera has a 1.1-inch OLED display and 4GB internal memory. It offers 3X digital zoom, LED flashlight and built-in microphone for voice recording.
Aiptek PenCam HD Trio comes with a HDMI port and Composite video connector. The bundled Windows software allows you to upload video to YouTube easily. It is available in five colors.

Buffalo introduces the HD-PVU2 series slim portable hard drive which is available in Black and White. Based on 2.5-inch hard drive, the HD-PVU2 is just 16mm thick. It comes with the eco-Manager software that will turn off the hard drive automatically when it is idle.
The Buffalo HD-PVU2 uses USB 2.0 interface. It is available in 320GB and 500GB capacities.
