Alienware, part of Dell, refreshes the Aurora and Aurora ALX gaming desktop PCs. The former is the most upgradeable and the later is the most powerful MicroATX desktops Alienware has ever created.

Both systems are boosted by Intel’s Core i7 processor up to a pre-overclocked Intel Core i7 975 3.60GHz quad core processor and up to dual 1GB ATI Radeon HD 5870 graphics cards. The Aurora gets up to 24GB DDR3 1333MHz memory and the liquid-cooled Aurora ALX has up to 12GB 1600MHz RAM. They pack up to 2TB of hard drive.
Alienware Aurora and Aurora ALX MicroATX gaming machines start at $1299 and $2299 respectively.

After the 17-inch M17X, Dell announced the all new Alienware M15x gaming notebook that is equipped with Intel’s new mobile Core i7 processor, up to Core i7-920XM 2GHz. The M15x is one of the most powerful 15.6-inch notebook in the market.
The M15x packs either a 512MB NVIDIA GeForce GT240M or a 1GB GeForce GTX260M graphics card, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM and up to 250GB 5400RPM hard drive or 256GB SSD. As for optical drive, buyer can get up to a Blu-ray burner. It’s 15.6-inch can have either 1600×900 or 1920×1080 Full HD resolution.
Alienware M15x supports Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, WiFi 802.11b/g/n. It provide eSATA and HDMI ports as well as a 8-in-1 card reader. ExpressCard Digital TV Tuner is available as an option. The M15x comes with a AlienFX Illuminated Keyboard. The price starts at $1499.
Also announced is that the Alienware M17x can now be equipped with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4870 graphics in both single and ATI CrossFireX configurations.

Toshiba adds to its Qosmio line the new Qosmio X500 series Core i7-based multimedia notebook PC. The X500 is boosted by Intel’s new Core i7 processor, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory and NVIDIA’s GeForce GTS 250MNV graphics card.
Toshiba’s Qosmio X500 packs dual 500GB hard drive and a Blu-ray burner drive. It has a large 18.4-inch 1920×1080 Full HD LCD display with LED-backlight. It comes with built-in harman/kardon speakers and Dolby Home Theater audio. You can also find HDMI output and 10-ley numeric pad.
The Qosmio X500 has Toshiba’s striking Fusion Finish in Omega Black with stylish red chrome accents. It will be available on 13 October 2009.

Along with two new UMPCs, TabletKiosk adds to its Sahara Slate PC lineup the new Sahara NetSlate a230T. Powered by Intel’s Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, the Sahara NetSlate a230T comes with 1GB of RAM, Intel GMA i950 integrated graphics and a 120GB hard drive (or SSD).

The a230T has a 12.1-inch 1024×1024 touchscreen display. It supports Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11b/g/n and 3G/3.5G (optional). The tablet PC runs Windows Vista Business (with free upagrde to Windows 7), Windows XP Embedded or openSUSE Linux 11. It is available now for $1395.

TabletKiosk eo a7330D UMPC
TabletKiosk introduces two new eo series ultra-mobile PCs, the eo a7330D and the eo TufTab a7230XD. Both of them have a 7-inch auto-switching dual mode active digitizer / resistive touch screen panel developed by Wacom.

The eo a7330D and eo TufTab a7230XD are boosted by Intel’s Atom Z530P processor, 1GB RAM and a 1.8-inch 80GB hard drive. They both support Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n. The eo a7330D includes also GPS support and modular expansion system for adding barcode scanning, credit card swiping functions.
The eo TufTab a7230XD, on the other hand, is a rugged UMPC with a 2 Megapixel auto focus webcam, integrated RFID reader, built-in 1D/2D barcode scanner, TPM v1.2, and RS-232 Serial port. It meets the MIL-SPEC-810F specifications and is rated IP54 to survive under extreme environment.
TabletKiosk’s two new UMPCs can be equipped with SSD drives, replacing the hard drive, and 3G/3.5G module. They will be available in October.
