Western Digital’s newest WD TV Live HD media player is now available at BestBuy. The new player serves as an update to the original WD TV and adds DLNA and Bonjour support and an Ethernet port for access media content in your home network as well as YouTubem Flickr and Pandora.
The WD TV Live offers 1080p Full HD output via HDMI port. It supports Dolby Digital and DTS audio decoding. The HD media player supports most media formats, including AAC, H.264/AVCHD, MKV. The device has a USB 2.0 port for connecting external storage device for media playback.
The WD TV Live is priced at $119.99 and comes with a remote control.

TrendNet announced the new TEW-649UB, an ultra compact wireless-N USB adapter. This new adapter has the same sizes as it brother TEW-648UB but includes Multiple Input Multiple Output, or MIMO, antenna technology offering a wider wireless range and faster throughput speed.
According to TrendNet, the new tiny TEW-649UB connects a laptop or desktop computer to a wireless n network at up to 8x the speed and 4x the coverage of a wireless g connection. The adapter is backward compatible with WiFi 802.11b/g and offers a WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) button for secure connection.
The TrendNet TEW-649UB supports 64/128-bit WEP, WPA/WPA2-Radius and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK security standards. It is compatible with Windows 2000/XP/Vista. It is priced at $29.99.

QNAP adds to its Turbo NAS line the new TS-210 NAS server. The new device comes in white, unlike other QNAP products. The QNAP TS-210 is boosted by a Marvell 800MHz processor and 256MB DDR2 RAM.
The dual-bay TS-210 offers rooms for two 3.5-inch SATA hard drives. It supports RAID 0, RAID 0, JBOD configurations and iSCSI Target service with Thin Provisioning. The device has a Gigabit LAN port and three USB ports. It includes a built-in UPnP/ DLNA media server, iTunes server support and QGet utility for BT/FTP/HTTP downloads.
QNAP TS-210 Turbo NAS offers the new AJAX web UI. It will be released in October.

Vioguard introduces in the UVKB50, the world’s first self-sanitizing computer keyboard. On a user-triggered or pre-determined basis, the Vioguard keyboard automatically retracts into its own clean, “light tight” enclosure and safely floods the keyboard with ultraviolet light to disinfect keyboard surfaces.
Ultraviolet light is known to be affective against harmful microorganisms such as H1N1 flu, MRSA and molds. Based on independent laboratory testing, the ultraviolet light generated by the unit’s two powerful 25-watt germicidal fluorescent lamps killed more than 99.99% of harmful bacteria and viruses, including MRSA and flu, in less than 90 seconds.
