Public Beta Testing of the MetaTrader 5 Terminal

The public beta testing of the MetaTrader 5 client terminal starts today. This is the notional day for all of you, who are waiting for our new trading platform.

The stage of the closed beta testing of the client terminal is over. Totally, we’ve received about 300 bug reports and suggestions from our testers. The most of bugs have been fixed, while suggestions have been considered, and we’re planning to implement them. Since the testing started, we’ve released 20 builds of the client terminal.

Now it’s time for the next stage in the development of the MetaTrader 5 platform. Today the public testing of the MetaTrader 5 client terminal starts. Any trader can participate in it. You can also inform your traders about the testing and offer the new terminal to them.

Epson PictureMate Charm Photo Printer

Epson announced the new PictureMate Charm PM225, a portable, affordable photo printer. The Charm is able to print 4″x6″ photos in about 37 seconds. Prints are durable, better-than-lab-quality prints that are smudge, scratch and resistant. According to Epson, prints last up to four times longer than traditional, film-processed photos, resisting fading up to 96 years under glass and over 200 years in dark album storage.

The Epson PictureMate Charm has a 2.5-inch LCD display and built-in card slots. Users can get the optional adapter for printing. The PictureMate Charm is priced at $149.99.

A company called Adaptive Sound Technologies, Inc. (ASTI) introduces the Ecotones Duet Sound Machine, a device that block unwanted noise a crowded office, at home for a more relaxing environment and help sleeping. The Ecotones comes with high-quality natural sound recordings, called SoundStory.

The Ecotones has built-in microphone for detecting unusual and intrusive sounds that can disrupt sleep or relaxation. Once detected, by utilizing the Adaptive Sound , the device mixes additional sound that compliments the primary SoundStory creating a complexity or richness to help overcome the distraction.

The includes a 3.5mm headphone jack. It is priced at $149.95.

OPERATING MODES

  • Adaptive Mode – listens to and adapts to intrusive sound, increasing richness and volume to minimize disruptive noise
