Acer debuts the new Aspire AS5738PG series, the PC maker’s first notebook to have multitouch display. It will be released on 22 October with Windows 7 Home Premium as OS.
The first model launched is the Aspire AS5738PG-6306 that packs an Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 2.2.GHz, 4GHz DDR2 RAM, and a 512MB ATI Radeon HD 4570 Graphics. The Windows 7 multitouch laptop packs a 320GB hard drive and a 8X DVD SuperMulti burner. It has a 15.6-inch LED-Backlit multitouch with 1366×768 resolution.
Other features include WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, Acer Crystal Eye Webcam, two built-in stereo speakers with Dolby-Optimized Surround Sound System, dedicated numeric keypad and HDMI port. The Aspire AS5738PG-6306 will be available in Gemstone Blue color and priced at $799.99.

Acer presents the Aspire One AOD250 (model: AOD250-1613) netbook with a dual-boot operating system including Android and Windows XP Home. The Aspire One AOD250 boasts an Intel N280 1.66GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 160GB hard drive and GMA 950 graphics.
The Android version AOD250 is just the same as the original Aspire One D250. It gets a multi-in-one card reader, WiFi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth, Acer Crystal Eye webcam, built-in stereo speakers, a multi-gesture touchpad and Dolby headphone technology.
The dual boot Android netbook has a 10.1-inch LED-backlit display. It will be available in Ruby Red, Diamond Black, Sapphire Blue and Seashell White, for $349.99.

As rumored, Nikon announced the new D3s digital DSLR camera that enables not only new opportunities in low-light photography but also offer photographers “added shutter speed and aperture freedom with a base ISO sensitivity range from ISO 200 to a remarkable 12,800″.
The D3s is based on the Nikon D3. It features a 12.1-megapixel FX-format CMOS sensor, Dynamic Integrated Dust Reduction System, Nikon EXPEED Image Processor, a 3-inch VGA LCD display, Fast, Accurate 51-Point AF System, Scene Recognition System and 1,005-Pixel 3D Color Matrix Metering II. The new camera is capable of continuous shooting at up to 9 fps and 1280×720 HD video recording at 24fps. It’s ISO sensitivity can be expanded to 102,400.
The Nikon D3s has two UDMA compatible CompactFlash card slots for fast recording. It will be released in November 2009 for $5199.95.

As you may know, Asus has pushed back the launch of the Eee PC T101H tablet netbook and here are some new details of the device. Basically, the system will be the same as previously reported by getting the new generation Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz processor and a new multi-touch display.
As the succesor of the T91, the T101H has a 10.2-inch 1024×600 touchscreen, 16GB SSD, 1GB RAM and motion. It supports Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, GPS, 3G UMTS connecitivity and has optional DVB-T tuner. The netbook runs Windows 7.
