The GlideTV Navigator is a clickale touchpad that can be mapped to your TV screen and does precise cursor control, one-thumb scrolling, single and double click selection. It features backlit AV buttons to control volume and playback, directional buttons for two-axis navigation, dedicated Esc, Enter, Back, and Function keys to control applications. The device also offers on-screen keyboard.
The GlideTV Navigator remote is compatible with PC running Windows XP SP2 and Windows Vista or above, Mac OS X 10.4.11 or above and Sony PS3. It connects via USB port.

Fujitsu introduces three new FMV-DeskPower all-in-one desktop PCs with Windows 7 OS, including the 23-inch F/E90D, 20-inch F/E70T and F/E60. All of them are powered by Intel’s Core 2 Duo P8700 2.53GHz processor and 4GB of memory.
Both F/E90D and F/E60 have built-in Blu-ray combo drive and TV tuner. The former has 1TB hard drive while the latter gets a 500GB hard drive. The F/E60 comes with DVD burner instead. These all-in-one PCs support WiFi 802.11b/g/n wireless connectivity and multi-in-one card reader, webcam. They will be available on 22 October.

Toshiba introduces the new dynabook MX/43 and MX/33 notebook PCs. Both 13.3-inch MX/43 and 11.6-inch MX/33 are based on Intel’s CULV processor and get the latest Windows 7 Home Premium OS.
Toshiba’s MX/43 is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo SU9400 1.4GHz processor and GMA 4500MHD while the MX/33 sports a Celeron 743 1.3GHz CPU and GMA 4500M graphics. They both have 2GB of DDR3 RAM and a 250GB hard drive.
Other common features include WiFi 802.11b/g/n, 0.3 Megapixel webcam, built-in speakers, HDMI output and 1366×768 LED display.

Toshiba announced in Japan the new Qosmio G60/97K-PQG6097KRF notebook that comes with Toshiba’s SpursEngine Quad Core HD processor and built-in Blu-ray/DVD combo drive as well as a large 18.4-inch LCD display with 1920×1080p Full HD resolution.
Toshiba’s Qosmio G60/97K is boosted by an Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 2.53GHz processor, 4GB of DDR2 memory and an 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT230M graphics card. You can also find a 500GB hard drive, an integrated TV tuner, harman/kardon speakers, a 0.3 Megapixel camera, built-in FeliCa, eSATA port and HDMI port. WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity is supported.
Toshiba brings also the dynabook Qosmio GX/G8K-PAGXG8KRF notebook that has similar configurations as the G60/97K but comes without SpursEngine, FeliCa and TV tuner and gets a 400GB hard drive. Both of them run Windows 7 Home Premium.

Samsung officially announced the commercial launch of its Blue Earth solar-power mobile phone. Samsung’s eco-friendly phone comes with solar charging panel is made from Post Consumer Material (PCM), which is extracted from water bottles.

Samsung’s Blue Earth features a 3-inch capacitive touchscreen display and a 3.2 Megapixel camera with face detection and smile shot. FM radio with RDS and Bluetooth are included. The solar handset supports quad-band GSM/EDGE and dual band HSDPA networks.
Samsung Blue Earth is launching in Sweden in October and will soon launch in France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Portugal and other European and Asian countries. Other than getting power from the Sun, the Blue Earth includes also other eco-friendly features:
- Blue Earth is made from Post Consumer Material (PCM), which is extracted from water bottles, helping to reduce fuel consumption and carbon emissions during the manufacturing process.
- The device, including the charger, is free from harmful substances such as Brominated Flame Retardants (BFR), Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) and Phthalate.
- With “Eco mode,” screen brightness, backlight duration and Bluetooth can be set to an energy-efficient mode with just one click.
- The “Eco Walk” function allows users to count their steps with a built in pedometer and calculate the reduction in CO2 emission realized by walking as opposed to using a motor vehicle. This unique function allows users to see the value of walking by calculating the number of trees that have been saved.
- The package is made from easy-to-recycle paper and printed in soy ink. It also suggests a simple DIY idea to reuse the package as a photo frame or a pencil box.
- Blue Earth comes with a 5 star energy efficient charger which uses only 0.03W of power in standby mode.
