
Chinese compabt K.R.T (aka Cooorui) introduces the X9, a 10-inch multitouch tablet running Windows 7. Boosted by Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, the X9 has 2GB of memory, integrated graphics and a 250GB hard drive.
The K.R.T X9 gets a 10.2-inch 1024×600 multitouch display and supports WiFi and 3G connectivity including WCDMA, TS-CDMA and CDMA2000. There are a 5-in-1 card reader, a 1.3 Megapixel webcam and VGA output also. The tablet costs 5999 Chinese Yuan, but is probably available in China.

A company called Show Translations launches the AirScript, the world’s first closed caption system for theater productions. The AirScript is designed and developed by Cambridge Consultants. It delivers subtitles from each show via personal handsets in real time, allowing both non-native speaking audience members and those with hearing impairments to enjoy the production.

The AirScript device has a color touchscreen display and connects to wireless network in the theater for subtitles streaming. It can provide real-time captions in ant language.It is being launched in conjunction with the Shaftesbury Theatre, London, for performances of ‘Hairspray’. AirScript handsets – initially supporting 8 languages, including French, German, Spanish, Japanese and English – will be available for audience members to use from November 2009.

Kanguru launches the HD Duplicator Mini Clone, a compact 1-target hard drive duplicator. The device supports both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SATA hard drives/SSDs as well as eSATA and USB external hard drives/flash drives.
Kanguru’s Mini Clone is easy to use. Just attach the master drive and target drive and select copy mode and it will do the rest for you. It has a OLED display to show you the options and statues. You can also use the device as a ordinary hard drive dock.
The Kanguru HD Duplicator Mini Clone is priced at $499.95, which is quite expensive.

FedEx introduces the SenseAware, a package monitoring device that allow customers to monitor in-transit conditions during ground transportation. The SenseAware can provide users with precise temperature readings. the exact location of a shipment, the time a shipment is opened or exposed to light and real-time alerts and analytics between trusted parties regarding the above vital signs of a shipment.
Thanks to the built-in GPS sensor of SenseAware, users can login to the web-based platform to check the exact location of their package. At launch, the SenseAware will target the health care and life sciences, according to FedEx.

RAmos launches the new T9HD portable media player, an update to the T9. The player is capable of 720p video playback and comes with a 4.3-inch 800×480 touchscreen display. It supports tons of media formats, including DivX, XviD, RMVB, MKV, FLV, VOB. It includes TV out as well.

The T9HD features also the Active View, which is basically a widget on the home screen that can show either your favorite picture or calendar or album art when it is playing song.
