Asus N61JV-X2
Asus releases its N61JV-X2 and N71JV-X1 notebooks, from its N61 and N71 series, in the US market. The two new notebooks are equipped with NVIDIA Optimus technology that seamlessly switch between the dedicated GeForce GPU and Intel’s integrated graphics chip.
Asus N71JV-X1
The N61JV-X2 and N71JV-X1 are equipped with NVIDIA GeForce GT325M graphics card with 1GB of RAM and integrated Intel HD graphics. The former sports an Inte Core i5-430M 2.26GHz while the 17-inch N71JV-X1 gets Core i3-350M processor. They both boast 4GB of RAM, 500GB hard drive and DVD SuperMulti burner.
The 16-inch screen of N61JV-X2 offers 1366×768 resolution while the N71JV-X1’s 17.3-inch display has 1600×900. Other features include WiFi, 2 Megapixel webcam, Altec Lansing speakers with SRS, 8-in-1 card reader, HDMI, eSATA port and USB 3.0 port.
Asus N61JV-X2 is now available at Amazon for $899 and the Asus N71JV-X1 at newegg also for $899.99.

Haleron is going to ship in March its iLet Mini HAL tablet device. Powered by a 600MHz VIA processor and 128MB RAM, the iLet has 2GB internal flash memory. It features a 7-inch 800×480 touchscreen and supports Ethernet and WiFi connectivity. 3G is available as an option.
The iLet Mini HAL has two USB ports and a SD card slot. It runs Android. The price is $199.

Dell adds the HD option to its Inspiron Mini 10 netbook. The option allows consumers to add the Broadcom Crystal HD media accelerator to the 10-inch netbook for enhanced HD playback in 1080p Full HD resolution.
Dell’s Mini 10 is boosted by Intel Atom N450 processor, 1GB of RAM and 250GB hard drive. It has a 10.1-inch 1366×768 LCD display, SRS Audio enhancement, Bluetooth, and WiFi. The Crystal HD-equipped Mini 10 starts at $409.

Shuttle, famours for its XPC barebone, introduces the new Barebone XS35 ultra slim barebone mini PC at the CeBit 2010. At just 3.3cm thick, the XS35 has standard VESA mount making ideal to be installed on the back of a HDTV/LCD monitor.

The Shuttle XS35 packs Intel Atom D510 1.6GHz dual core processor and NVIDIA ION 2 graphics with HDMI. It has room for a 2.5-inch hard drive, a slim optical drive and a multi-in-one card reader. There are five USB ports, a VGA out in addition to HDMI, and Ethernet LAN port.
Shuttle Barebone XS35 will be released in Q2 2010.
