Toshiba enters the Freeview HD market with the introduction of the HDR5010 Freeview+ HD PVR. The device comes with an integrated 500GB hard drive for recording HD content. The HDR5010 features dual HD tuner, allowing users to watch one channel and record another at the same time.
The 500GB hard drive allows up to 120 hours of HD recording. The PVR has an Ethernet port, three HDMI, two USB ports and a SCART port. It will be available in June, in time for the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa and the price is GBP349.

Dell releases its UltraSharp U2711 IPS LCD display with WQHD resolution. Dell’s new monitor features the PremierColor technology that delivers factory-tuned AdobeRGB and sRGB modes and a Custom Color mode for tech-savvy users and an outstanding color gamut.
The Dell UltraSharp U2711 sports 2560 x 1440 (WQHD) resolution, 80,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 brightness, 6ms response time, 109 pixels per inch and 178/178-degree viewing angle. It has a built-in 8-in-1 card reader and a 4-port USB hub. The U2711 offers HDMI, DisplayPort, two DVI-D, D-sub, component and composite inputs.

T-Mobile launches an updated version of the myTouch 3G (aka HTC Magic) Android smartphone that now comes with 3.5mm headphone jack. Like the original myTouch 3G, the new model has a 3.2-inch touchscreen, 3.2 Megapixel camera, Bluetooth and WiFi connecitibity. It also receives some minor tweaks such as 288MB of RAM (up from 192MB), additional Swype input method, Google Search by voice app, Google Maps Street View app.
The new T-Mobile myTouch 3G with 3.5mm jack is available for $149.99 with a new 2-year contract.

The Canon PowerShot A495 comes in two-tone colors, such as red, blue and silver while the PowerShot A490 in a metallic two-toned silver and black. They are priced at $129.99 and $109.99, respectively.
